Post your Legendary Auctions wins here

I won this item for my Santo collection. I have been looking for many years for one and finally found a complete one for under a 1000.

I saw that last nite and was a bit shocked by how low it went- IMO you got a really good deal on it.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

    I went 0-4 image

  • Some of the people that consigned to them can't be very happy. Quite a few lots went for considerably less than what they are worth.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

agreed, but after all the publicity of Mastros/Legendery's issues the last couple of years it's not like any consignor didn't have fair warning.
There were a lot of items that would've done better on ebay or in a private sale.

Thanks. The others in the past were offered in groups which were way out of my price range. I will get it slabbed and add it to my Santo master set.

great price on that Santo Stand-Up!! What great pick-up for a Master Collector.

I won the '71 Greatest Moments Jackson in PSA-7 and the Mays in PSA-8 for my set. Mays was a decent price. paid $350....Jackson, an OK price, but not many come up. Since 2007 only 1 other PSA-7. So I went for it. Paid $650.

Did you see the #5 '69 Topps Super Registry Set sold for $9,000. 40 PSa-10s!! I would think that a far greater price woudl have been made selling by single lot as Griffins suggested.
  • 0-12 here, just could not belive some of the exhibit prices, I smell a whale

Until all old debts are paid by these guys I don't think anyone should ever do buisness with these guys again.

nice pick up on the santo , I was the underbidder and debated bidding again but prefer the die cut ones. glad it went to a collector.
