do you think anyone weighed their 2009 mint sets looking for cents that WERE NOT.........

....the 95% copper lincolns? just wondering if anyone would go to those extremes to try and find "THE" error. i guess

    would the cumulative errors for each coin total to the amount or more than the amount of the single error for the cent?


    In other words, is the single difference within the error rate for the whole set... including the plastic lens they are in?

    ....sure! if your scale is a good one all you need to do is weigh the whole thing and compare to others. the off ones

    would show a difference in grams for the total weight. image

    The cumulative error is no doubt greater by I'd open any set that was
    sufficiently light. A further test could be made by merely weighing the
    end with the cents in it.
