    "We're gonna do it!

Give us any chance, we'll take it.
Give us any rule, we'll break it.
We're gonna make our dreams come true.
    Doin' it our way.

Nothin's gonna turn us back now,
Straight ahead and on the track now.
We're gonna make our dreams come true,
    Doin' it our way.

There is nothing we won't try,
    Never heard the word impossible.
This time there's no stopping us.
    We're gonna do it.

On your mark, get set, and go now,
Got a dream and we just know now,
We're gonna make our dream come true.
And we'll do it our way, yes our way.
Make all our dreams come true,
And do it our way, yes our way,
Make all our dreams come true
    For me and you."

That's the way to do it, Bob. Congrats!

I live in Wisconsin and work in Suburban Chicago. Yeah the travel does suck at times but its something that is not too terribly bad to make living conditions crazy for you. As a matter of fact I work with a number of people that live just north of Milwaukee and travel to this job that is about 15 miles short of being in Chicago so it can be done. Just join the rest of us on 94 and enjoy the ride although paying the tolls to the state of Illinois really sucks!! LOL

Let me know if you need ideas as to where to stop along the way for coffee, breakfast, cheese........

Edited to add...Congrats on the job!!
I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!

Congrats oak!!! I think commuting from Tinley park to milwaukee would be close to 3 hours during rush hour one way? 294 is brutal. I think moving up to Wisconsin would be smart if you work there and avoid the high living expenses down here.

Yeah.. it could be.. min of 2 hrs
for the time being I may look into buying a cheap condo for the week and going home on weekends
and having the fam come up as much as possible.
the commute costs alone would pay for the condo.. not accounting for personal wear and tear and car wear and tear.
We are going to try different options to see what fit is best.

Been with the company I work for 30 years this April 15th. Had almost forgotten how happy I was when I got this job during the recession of 1980. I don't know you but am happy to hear of your good fortune. Good luck with the new job.
