Goodwin Champions - 6 to go..... decided to give it up

Been having fun chasing down all the autos from this set since I decided to tackle it last October or so.
Figured I'd share what has become an obsession of mine
Got 82 of the 93 in hand and 2 more on the way. The rest will be pretty tough to find/afford. Except for the Bucky F$%#ing Dent card that I don't really want but will have to eventually get to complete this. He will be the final card I buy.
Still missing:
Bobby Orr / 25
Derek Jeter / 25
Ken Griffey Jr. /25
LeBron James /25
Michael Jordan /23
Nolan Ryan /25
Prince Fielder /50
Bucky F$%#ing Dent /too many
Here are the rest:

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
10 to go with the Chipper Jones coming in today.
Also been working on the GU set that is now 3 to go, 2 of which I'll probably never see
There are supposed to be 100 of these FKdomes but this is the very first one I've seen for sale since October.

no Tiger Woods auto in the set, just a GU. For the first couple months I did think there was a Tiger Woods auto and was wondering why I hadn't seen one pop up.
Here are my updated wallpapers. At some point I'd like to get these framed. Think it could be done with a normal size poster frame. Adam gave me the idea that getting an actual poster made by a print shop would be cool too. And that way I wouldn't have to chance damaging the actual cards.
Blew it big time last night and missed the Prince Fielder that went for $17. Didn't think I needed to set a snipe cause it was ending when I was home. Then I got to doing something else and forgot about it until it was too late.

looking for 1964 topps baseball psa graded 7+
Within an hour I had a PM from Chris Carlin, their customer service manager. He said he would look into my case and said those specific cards weren't available and they'd have to send replacements. I followed up with a message sending a couple pics of the Goodwin set I'm working on in case they needed any ideas of what I wanted. Couple days later, Chris emailed me and said my replacements were on the way.
Here's what arrived today:
the last 2 night sky versions I needed and 2 of the last 8 autos I needed. I had planned on getting the Bucky Dent last to complete the set since I really don't want Bucky Dent anything in my possession but I'll accept a free one this time
I'm just seeing your wallpapers for the 1st time....they are outstanding!

Very cool and completely unexpected
The last Jordan went for $700
The Le Bron was around $350
Orr $150
Ryan $150
Griffey went over $200
oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
put the SPs on Ebay this morning
As for the others... I think it would be amazing to go along with your framing or poster idea, but leave the blank spots in with the names printed on them (and the print run). Those few spots would make for excellent conversation...
To me, it's like trying to complete a 1952 Topps set... most regular joes are going to have some permanent gaps... but once you get past a certain point, you've accomplished something that's so bonkers/awesome that it takes on a life of its own.
... and these cards are beau--tee--full!
Just my 2 cents. I know I'd have sellers remorse a few weeks after getting rid of something this nice.

Congrats anyway on the fine accomplishment!
It's an awesome collection!
Those posters look fantastic as they are... I agree with mosaic's suggestion.
and they will probably never show up as topps cards. Panini looks like they will never make another on card autograph card. You gave it a good run and hopefully
some of the bigger name cards will appreciate by the time you sell. Good Luck!

Sorry to see you have to split it up.
Thanks for the scans-stories
