Need Help On a 1954 Dan Dee Mantle

I am considering picking up one but there are only 2 dealers who have the monopoly on them. The prices they want are way over book. Do they really sell at that level or is it much lower? I am considering a psa 5 or 6. Can anyone help with a real price? Also, does PSA grade the wax/oil that is found harshly?

    Dan Dee Mantles are far from rare. Wait for a good deal on eBay

    Actually, all Dan Dees in Ex or better are quite hard to find. Recent major auction sales for the Mantle show an EX at $1,853 (2010 "book" is $960), and a VG at $416 ($460 "catalog").
