Question on 1892 Morgan Dollars

Is the hair above the ear usually not fully struck on the 1892 Morgan? TIA.

Greatly depends on which mint. Generally New Orleans of '92 were weakly struck.
However, CC's, P's and S's are much better. Bowers says: the New Orleans of '92
were the most weakly struck of the Morgan series. P's and CC's are sometimes seen
weakly struck but most are not.
