Let the junk mail commence ..

.. or how Roosevelt was to thank for the VDB 1c , some may remember a post about Littletons and the tactics , i thought i was done and dusted but got a very comprehensive and interesting catalogue from them this morning. Its very interesting and educational , prices are shocking mind you.

Roosevelt was posing for a sculpture with Victor David Brenner and happened to see a plaque Brenner had done of Lincoln, the rest is history.

I also received their catalog on Saturday. And I also recently called and asked them to stop sending me stuff. However, it may take time for your request to get passed along and noted in their subscription services department. Give it a few weeks - pretty typically.

On a side note, I also checked out their prices and was shocked! I knew Littleton was very high, but wow, they are almost double on a lot of items. Silver Ealges for $35, 1909 VDB Cent in Good for $49. I hate to see people bring in their Littleton wrapped coins as I don't enjoy telling them it is worth far less than they paid for it.
