using the Accented Hair as his coin of choice, Russ proved that the graders often don't know how to tell some varieties and what you write on the submission form is often what you get. although i no longer do it, i used to search eBay listings every night for mis-attributed T1's. too many know the variety now to make it worthwhile.

I also saw a '56 type 1 in a PCGS holder labeled as type 2 on Heritage about six months ago. If it had been a nice cameo I probably would have bid on it.
