    Indeed!

    5 years ago the 1960 was at a whopping $ 4000

    , the 59 was at $ 5000 .........

And you know what the biggest looser of the whole series is ? The MS 66 FBL 1954-P , in 5 years the price has dropped 72%.

Just so happens thats my favorite date .........

and the 2nd biggest looser in those 5 years ?

yep , the 1951-D in MS66 FBL ; lost an astounding 71% of it's value

I know it's disheartening ....i just cant figure it out

isn't the recent surge in gold and silver prices supposed to drive coin prices in general off the charts ?

Aren't the hundreds of thousands of new collectors brought into the hobby by the State Quarter Program supposed to branch out into other series such

    as Franklin's ?

Isn't it true that Franklin's are one of the most popular coins out there ...as evidenced by the large # of Registry sets ?

......I been waiting 20 years for them to take off : isn't their day in the sun due ?

can't I be stifled from making these persistent irritating posts ??
