1700's Irish coin weights question...

I have some coin weights that I was wanting more info on.

My main question is does anyone know if these appear to be genuine and why they seem to be crudely made? Thanks for any insight! -Dan

I know that #2 is the coin weight of a half moieda of Portugal.

The 1 drahm 2 grain ones are 1.7 grams and the larger ones are over 2 grams.

I would say Brass, but to be honest with you, there is not a whole lot of info I can find on this area. -Dan
