1718 No Stops 1/2 D

Well this contentious one arrived so I got a better image of it. Although it doesn't show up in the images under 20x magnificaiton there is the barest pimple of a dot between the S and R, and a little little more of a trace after the X. I don't know if you can see it but the E of REX looks nothing like an E, more like an H at the top with some blundered letters underneath.

That's what I meant when I said a trace of a stop is still a stop. I've never seen a coin without at least a pimple assuming the grade was good enough. Worn examples you can disregard when attributing stops or traces thereof.

I had one of the no stops 1/2d- I think mine was 1717 though- I sold it years ago- a decent coin
