PCGS Population Report question

I see that recently there was a US pattern 20$ in copper ( J-273 ) graded across the street PR66 and one sold in the bowers auction in the May 2006 Anaheim Auction.
I was wondering if it is the same coin that PCGS graded PR65 RB?
just resubmited to NGC for the up grade?
I thought if it was the same coin mayby PCGS took it out of there pop report.

I do not think the competitors tell each other what coins they have cracked from each other


so how would PCGS know which coins are no longer in the slabs that are included in the population report

i dont think i put to much faith in the accuracy of the population reports. to many crack outs....

Totally agree. Pop reports are WAY too inflated.
