Any 2001 Topps Heritage experts on here?

A few years ago, I remember seeing an auction for a pair of Roger Cedeno #18 cards.

There was some variation on the back involving the stars. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Does anyone know where I can find lists of all the unlisted variations in the Topps Heritage sets?

this would be a great help...

Maybe we could start with all the listed ones, and then people could add more from there .

JC - maybe we could change the thread to, "The Offical Topps heritage Variation Thread"

I hope everyone can contribute !

what do u say guys ?

    thanks

    Buying:
Topps White Out (silver) letters Alex Gordon
80 Topps Greg Pryor “No Name"
    90 ProSet Dexter Manley error
90 Topps Jeff King Yellow back
    1958 Topps Pancho Herrera (no“a”)
81 Topps Art Howe (black smear above hat)
    91 D A. Hawkins BC-12 “Pitcher”
  • But then it's going to get bogged down with all those intentional, listed variations.

I know that someone used to list the unlisted variations each year upon release of Heritage. They should chime in if they're out there still!

If there were lists of them, they would not be "unlisted" now, would they?

And, since they apparently are "unlisted", then there aren't any lists of them.

    true...

just don't think you will attract anyone to the thread or a high volume unless that is done...

I really don't have any early heritage errors., so i have to work on that...

There is a definitive list of light backs and dark backs but that secret is closely guarded, only a few people know about it.

  • I'm almost certain that it involves the printing underneath the stats/text on back.

One version has the "Topps Heritage" with a star on either side and one version is missing that?

Or one version has one solid black star on one side of "Topps Heritage" and a star outline on the other side of it?

If anyone has a scan of the back of their Cedeno, I can try and explain it a little better.

  • Thanks 'Mass.

I'm pretty sure that a variation exists where the words "TOPPS HERITAGE" (with a star on either side) appear in the blank area above the copyright info. I believe all the cards in the 2001 set are supposed to have this.

Hopefully, one will show up soon.
