How do you search and EXCLUDE a seller??

I dislike people who are too lazy to look up obvious things - thanks for the reminder. Didn't think about Google after searching PCGS.
I didn't know that. I have just been adding them to my "favorites" list and putting a note in why I won't buy from them. They still show up, but I can cross reference the list.
This way works better.

After typing something in, the site will generate a link which you can post.

Thanks for the tip.
<< <i>I added one tonight to my blocked seller list. This seller listed a full bands 1939S Mercury Dime which is fairly hard to come by, so when I looked and saw that it was incredibly poor, he became an addition to the list. Should you wish to view the auction, it is--------Ebay

By "full bands" he was probably just referring to the diagonal or vertical bands, not the horizontal ones. After all, it *is* listed as a circulated coin. I'm no expert on the series, but it looks like a fairly decent XF-AU to me.
A little misnomer in the terminology perhaps, but otherwise he seems like a good seller. Personally, I would have given him the benefit of the doubt, rather than be so quick to "block".

I kind of expected to see "gotjacollectibles" when I clicked that link.....I saw a jeff they had listed, in PCGS plastic, and they have it on ebay advertised as full steps and put a sticky with FS on the slab....then went on to quote the PCGS price guide on a FS nickel.....
Reported 'em to ebay but ebay left them up. Talk about deceptive

They wouldn't lie, would they?

Were you talking to support here or overseas? If overseas, it is pretty much a guarantee they had a set list of things in a reference guide and only used that.
If "local", they would still have had something like that but may be a little more knowledgeable.

You're gonna wear that thing out.
<< <i>FWIW, I contacted eBay recently about excluding sellers, and they said that it could not be done. >>
From what I've read here, you just exclude the bad sellers from your search.

Have you figured out a way to exclude sellers AND save the list for future searches??

Copy and paste is how I do it. Nice inf. but ebay has ears and if they see stuff like this, they may try to find a way around it.

This is exactly what I do as well so I have the cross reference.
