I was just at Hunt's site a few weeks ago and this wasn't up yet - at least I didn't see it.
Those are some really cool machines.
There was one that has an incline and if the pinball hits it - it goes to an upper deck!
I like the ones that have the batters moving around also.
Unfortunately, I have no space for a pinball machine. I didn't bid on some large exhibit vending machines about 6 yrs ago due to space - now that one I regret - the really ornate ones from the 30s/40s don't come up very often.
I'd really like one tho! I was thinking of checking locally with a distributor to see if they had anything in the back of their warehouse collecting dust.
Thanx again for the link.
edit: this one looks smaller - will check the web - may have potential!
Incredibly cool stuff. I can remember Sports Illustrated doing a photo feature on machines of this type @ 1977. In the Baseball Preview issue, if I'm not mistaken.
I've actually played the "Deluxe Baseball" machine, or one substantially like it. There was an independent amusement park near here for many years and their arcade had an eclectic mix of coin operated games. I played about every possible fighter plane and submarine game known to American pop culture when I was in my early teens.
