Interesting video of Pujols and McGwire in the batting cage (Updated with an even better video)

I thought this was a very interesting video from Spring Training yesterday in Jupiter, FL. Forget that it's Mark McGwire. I would have loved to see this kind of video with Pujols talking to anybody about hitting. With McGwire, I think it's even more interesting.

I will post this anyway, knowing it will probably derail really quick. Let's see if I can predict where this goes....

"They edited the juicing section out of the video."

"Where's the needle's?"

"After this hitting session, they headed out for some lunch and HGH."

I find it interesting . As good of a hitter Albert is though , Im not really sure he needs
much help . It is good to see McGwire doing what he's paid for though

pretty cool... did you see his son kind of applying what he was hearing.. awesome

his kid doesn't get the true impact of what he was experiencing.. since that is the life he always knew.
could you imagine yourself as a kid listening to mickey mantle talking to mike schmidt or something like that

I noticed his son standing there, but I didn't notice him trying to practice what he was hearing. I'll have to rewatch it. I do remember on the TV Show "Shaq Vs Pujols", they showed his son in the cage actually outhitting Shaq. Everytime his son hit one, he got to paddle Shaq's behind with a bat.

It sounded to me more like Pujols was telling McGwire his hitting philosophy that has worked for him. Can't imagine McGwire actually "teaching" Pujols anything about hitting.

I agree. What I liked about it is that it didn't look like is was set up. I looked candid. It was kind of like the viewer was a "fly on the wall".

Take a look at this one! Here is another video with him and his son. Albert is throwing to A.J. in the cage and A. J. lets one rip straight back at his dad. Let's just say that he had better be wearing a cup!

My son has actually done that to me a time or two. Luckily I had a baseball glove.

Pujols doesn't look like he is juicing. He doesn't have the definition and size that people normally get while using PEDs. I don't notice any "symptoms" of PED use.

Bump for those getting home from work. I just showed my 9 year old son the second video. It's still hilarious. However, I must add, the my son is the same age and can hit just as good. I work with him all the time on it. He's got some pop.

Anyway, if you haven't seen the video, it's worth your time. (Both are actually.)

I'm not sure how old the kid is, but he has the nicest swing for a kid is age. The swing is perfect. He could be better then his dad in the next 10+ years.
