A couple of neat things I found in one of my boxes........

I have had these for many years and just came across them when I was going through of of my many boxes of things I have things in and have not gone through in several years.

The first is an advertisement on the back outside cover of an April 27, 1948 edition of Look magazine. As you can see, it shows Chesterfield cigarettes being endorsed by Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Stan Musial, Bob Elliott, Ewell Blackwell and Bucky Harris.

The second is a set of baseball helmets. There are a total of 28 helmets total and they measure about 10 inches across and about 6 inches down. Maybe someone can help with the year. The paper form that came with it says there are four additional helmets included to represent pre-season changes made by a few ball clubs. The first is the Texas Rangers from the Washington Senators helmet, the second is California Angels from the small "a" with halo to the capital "A" with the halo, the third is Indians "C"outlined in white for the dark blue helmet with the red "C", and the fourth is small "a" outlined in white and blue for the dark blue helmet with the white "A". i giuess they are from the early 1970's?????

Thanks for looking,
Bob
