Anyone ever shipped anything to Bahrain?

Someone sent me a message on a Muhammad Ali magazine I have on eBay: "hi i like buy this item but i haven,t paypal now. i can send money by airmail & express to your postal address.it will be arrive to you 10-15 bussines days.i can bid this item if you accept . regards shaif vaghei"

It turns out that he is from Bahrain. I have a few concerns that I don't know if anyone on here could answer for me:
1. What would he pay me with? Can he go to the bank there, exchange dinar for dollars, and mail that, or is he going to mail me some sort of Bahrainian money order, and if so, how would you cash that?
2. What is the likelihood that the magazine would find its way to Bahrain?
3. His callsign is "vahid0911" Is that just a coincidence, or should that concern me?

You dictate the terms and if he can meet them, send him the mag. Personally I find his ID offensive and I would avoid dealing with him.

Maybe I should hook him up with my mother-in-law.

Thanks Allen for the heads up.-- sonny

I would not sell to that ID, but that's just me. (EBAY allows terrorist scum to pepper
its international sites with such IDs, but an American that had an equivalent opposition
    ID would be NARUd.)

Expect long customs delays in Bahrain.

As far as I know, there is no postally-related International Money Order issued in Bahrain.
US cash money would be what I would accept.

Global Express Guaranteed would be in the $50.00+ range.

EMI would be in the $30.00+ range.

(In a non-PayPal transaction, Priority Mail would work but it
    is not very secure.)

Bahrain is a major AQ target and most of AQ's helpers are
    homegrown.

When I first read the message, I was leery because I didn't know if I wanted to go through the aggravation. Then, when I saw his ID, I was leery because he either has a sick sense of humor or is a terrorist. I think I am going to just not answer him for the first reason. Nevertheless, would it be wrong of me if I were to decide to not do the transaction solely because he either has a sick sense of humor or is a terrorist, or would that be unfair racial profiling?

His lonely-hearts-club ad says he is "caucasian."

I would BBL him immediately, AND NEVER respond to his inquiry.

    ...............................

No matter what race he is, I would not sell him a glass of water.

I don't need to know his race to know he is a nogoodnik.

Race is ONLY one element of modern "bad guy" profiling.

If you don't want to deal with folks in certain countries, you
can simply note the countries you ship to in your SYIF.

I don't ship anywhere but I just had a flashback.

During Desert Storm - after parching in the hot sun for days - we went to Bahrain for the day - there's no booze in Saudi - so it was really nice to have a cold beer - also went to a water slide park and got cool!

If I never get back there - I'm OK - too darn hot!
