How soon a sell-out will drive the prices to the stratosphere, when gold does it's thing, is a mystery.

IMO, those playing these for a quick sell out and/or a big price increase when they do sell out; are going to be disappointed.

I do not agree, however , it depends on your definition of "big". I have picked up 3 Ea. 2006-2009 Proofs since they were introduced. Either through submission or aquisition, I now have 3 each in PR70. All of them, with the exception of the 2009s sell for at least 100% more than the price I paid

Wow. I did not expect that. Usually a warning about the next available shipping date shows up first. So 50K maybe. Which is normal for the Annual AGE One Ounce Gold Proofs. I bought mine when they came on sale last year. I still think the $1410 is kind of steep though.

Me too, bought my 2 first day, still have them in US mint sealed shipping box.

Mint sold out again, must of sold the damaged ones that were returned.
If these get returned will the mint still try to sell them or destroy them?
I'm sure there were only a few so totals will still be around 50,000.

Are these trading for any sort of premium to the Mint issued price of $1360 or $1410? I am not sure these are a good hold or not. Comments?
