What do you do when you wake up in the night and.....

WoW I spend and have spent all my spare money on bits of metal, coins to be exact, the coins in fact look horible and when I bought them I thought they were great - am I loco? you go into a nervous state, start sweating, feeling nausea, decide to sell for any amount of money in the morning, and decide to have "wine, women and the local casino"
Do you have a story the same or similar?

something about it.
Coins, however, will endure. Up and down maybe but at least you can always buy
a loaf of bread, with the silver and gold ones at least
It's just that I got my PCGS grades.
I was staggered at the final figure.Suffice to say it was the total for 24 ancient british coins , Edward l & ll , Henry Vl , William and Mary etc etc
It was enough to give me pause for thought , considering i put every disposable cent into ancient coins.I try to offset it with occasional purchases of bullion,as mentioned by a previous poster , one is not likely to go without a loaf of bread if your paying in gold or silver bullion.
I bought roll after roll of mercury dimes just for that purpose...if it were to ever come to that.
I suppose its down to why one own such coins , is it an investment for future gain or is it because you love the history and owning a part of it.Mine is the latter so i dont really pay too much attention to what the market is doing in ancient coins.I do however watch bullion prices keenly.
