What do I thing? Well, without doing a pixel count to me it looks as though it falls within PSA guidelines as far as centering is concerned and shouldn't be marked OC, although it's obviously VERY close. I see there is also a very slight tilt to the card. I do think from your scan that it could achieve a 7. Perhaps you can re-sub and ask for no qualifiers?
I think they got it right on both counts......isn't a PSA 8 (OC) the same as a PSA 6......six in one hand, half a dozen in the other.....if it comes back a 3rd time as a '6', then you will have paid 3 grading fees for essentially the same grade. I am not a big fan of that!

Not exactly; there is a gap between the acceptable centering rules for 8's and 7's. The card could be 75/25 and get a 7, but that would yield an 8 (OC). I would hope that PSA would automatically downgrade you one step instead of throwing on the Qual, but I'm not sure they do.

Difference in value between a 6 and a 7 in the SMR is $55 so it may be cost-effective to accept it as is and buy the 7 you want before you run up to much in grading fees and postage to and fro and insurance to and fro. I could see it in a 7 holder but I wouldn't want to pay too much to see it happen. Or not happen.
PSA will grade with no qualifiers. You need to specify that when you send in your submission.
Edit: Nice card....I personally would rather have it in a PSA 6 or PSA 7 before a PSA 8OC, but that is just me. I think a lot of my cards would have been higher grades, but I asked for no qualifiers. Either way, nice card and good luck with whatever choice you make.

The above makes a lot of sense. If I were you I would buy a high-end, centered 7, and sell the 8 (OC) you have as-is to offset the costs.

<< <i>I didn't put a pixel ruler to it but the bottom R/L appears to be 80/20 - so it doesn't meet the requirement to be a 7 IMO.

It appears to measure about 10-4 L-R, so within tolerances.
