Does anybody have the approximate final sales figures for the 2009 gold and silver eagles please?
Thanks,

In 2009, the Mint sold 1,315,000 gold American Eagle coins, including the 122,000 in December as reported in the box at top right. However, the Mint is still selling 2009-dated coins. That will mean some challenges to reference writers to get numbers right in future years.

The Mint sold 28,766,500 silver American Eagles in 2009, including 2,773,000 in December. However, another 107,500 silver Eagles were sold in January by the Jan. 4 cut-off date for this report. These are all dated 2009 and sales will continue until these 2009-dated pieces run out or the switch is made Jan. 19 to 2010-dated pieces.
