    $599 for an empty box is totally ridiculous.

    I can't remember where I saw it, but I think its because our friends in China buy them to make their fake gold more authentic.

    I think they were selling that high for awhile due to something with IRA's. The proofs brought $40ish bucks, but the UNC box prices were absurd

    You are correct ... the seller is about 3 month to late and behind the times. A few did sell for several hundred bucks, but no more.
