Worth resubbing?

It really looks like an 8. Does PSA downgrade for the line across the top on the 62's?

  • I'd go 7.5.

    Still a very nice card.

  • They are so sketchy on '62s. I have similar looking cards from that year I had graded a few months back and was baffled by a few grades. I would resub that card.

I think it could get a .5 bump, not sure about a full grade though.

    Very nice looking card nonetheless...Donato

Looks much nicer than a 7 to me, however it was graded after the .5 system was in place.

looks like a sure 8 maybe the corners have a lift on them??

but I think I see some to the right of his eyes

PSA 7s of this card sell in the $50 range and PSA 8s sell in the $125 range, so the above card is worth 1 or 2 shots at a resub in my opinion (if resale is the owners motive).
  • nice card, cant hurt to resubmit....

Nice card! I think it has a decent shot at an upgrade.

I'd possibly try the review service at least once.

Is there any slight 'lifting up' on the right edge of the card? It's hard to tell from the scan, but the 1966 Topps football cards (with the same woodgrain border) tend to do that a lot, and get downgraded because of it.

If that's not the case, I'd say it's got a good shot at going up to a 7.5 or 8

    Good luck!

  • I have seen plenty of 62's with a line either at the top or bottom in 8 holders. Hope the guy who slabbed that card isn't the one grading your group sub.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.
