That list is from 2010 . This is an old thread.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

John Turney runs a blog called Pro Football Journal and he recently posted a few updated sack totals that were not included in the original list.
"Also, we have sack numbers for those players with blanks in that column, however, they are not complete, again, data in the 1950s is very hard to come by. However, we feel very confident that Marchetti is around 110, Ford is in the close to 100, Willie Davis is just under 100, and** Robustelli is around 110**** and **Atkins at least 130. Some day, God willing, we will have complete numbers for those players."
Considering this I believe Marchetti, Ford, and Atkins should be included in the set. Robustelli is already included in the set.
Do you (or anybody) know if there has been any progress made towards "accurate estimations" for guys like Marchetti, Ford, Davis, and even Norm Willey?

I did some quick googling but came up empty.
I check the blog and the Pro Football Researchers forum (the blog authors frequently post) but I have seen nothing new. I think the issue is a lack of information and they reach dead ends during their research as they no longer find additional game footage or articles.
Super Bowl XXVIII: Buffalo Bills vs Dallas Cowboys - Running back Emmitt Smith rushed for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns earning Super Bowl MVP honors as the Cowboys defeated the Bills 30-13 to win their second consecutive NFL title.
The poll for the additions is now out. For Dumervil the wrong card was selected as SP is the product of choice since it is numbered to at least 999. He also is one sack short.

Is there a reason there is not a NFL 20/20 club registry set?....or 20/40 club registry set? Is there just not enough people interested in doing a smaller set like this?. I think its a cool idea and brings more attention to a pretty exclusive group of players and incredible accomplishment. Lmk what y'all think.

Good idea, you should submit both to PSA !

Looking at RCs for some of these guys....Im kind of seeing why these sets dont exist now. Not too convinced that Adrian Wilson even HAS a RC. Card selection could be an issue.

Wilson is in 2001 Leaf Rookies and Stars and 2001 Playoff Preferred.

Elvis Dumervil eclipsed the 100 sack mark and I submitted/requested that his SP rookie be voted up on.

Dumervil's Topps Chrome rookie was selected for the set but SP should of been the card that was used. SP has been the card of choice when numbered to at least /999. I have contacted the registry department to see if the SP rookie can be substituted for Topps Chrome of if we can please vote with the SP as an option.

The registry reps have refused to allow another vote on Dumervil. Stinks because SP would be the card of choice if he ever received HOF support down the line.

They do not care. They get it wrong all the time. I have a fit with a few of my registries because of it. It is moving me farther and farther away from using the registry for more than a cataloguing of inventory. Newer users typically choose what was before deemed the incorrect card. My biggest complaint is going with something like an 1986 Topps Steve Young when he has an 1984 USFL Topps. The 84 is his RC sorry, Had this issue with the all time Saints thread they would not allow my 1984 USFL Bobby Hebert but said it has to be 1986 Topps. Even though the 1984 USFL Vaughn Johnson and 1985 USFL Sam Mills are being used. That kind of cluelessness just irks the heck out of me.
I now have a request in to add a player to a set that is more than a year old and another that is approaching a year. Although I was not happy about this major de-emphasis of the Set Registry at first, I’ve come to realize that PSA is actually doing us a favor. I’m no longer as concerned about specific sets as I used to be, and I doubt I’ll ever get back there. I mainly use the Set Registry for inventory purposes these days and I’m enjoying my Showcase compilations.

I used to be all about the Registry, not anymore. I do want to keep up a few sets but it irks me when key card sets get the wrong key card added.
Why can't the NFL simply put up the true numbers ? Do they not really know them?? You have to look on different sack lists all the time. I know they didn't count the numbers officially way back when; but those stats are available.

Chandler Jones started the season with 97 career sacks. As of the 3rd quarter in the first game he has 4 sacks.
