Best Trade ever

What is the best trade you ever made that did not involve any money at all?

I traded a dealer back in 1991 a whole binder full of 1990 score and proset football for a 1986 Topps Jerry Rice. (I will try to post a picture) He got the better deal at the time but now...

Just a small one comes to mind at the moment. I traded 6 Topps George Bell and 2 Fleer George Bell rookie cards for a small stack of 1950 Callahan cards. The Bell's may have been going for anywhere around $8.00 for a brief time he was hot and the Callahan's not much. This was to a dealer at a small card show I was set up next to. I was later miffed I made the deal. However, the lot of Callahan's included DiMaggio and Gehrig. I was happy years later when I sent some to PSA and sold the DiMaggio and Gehrig for about $125.00 each image

I traded my homecoming date to my best friend for his homecoming date. And I REALLY liked his date and didn't care much for mine. They didn't hit it off to well but I was pretty close with my date for about twelve years after that.

In 1986 I traded a dealer a boatload of 1986 Fleer Goodens, Mattingly's, Boggs and Strawberry's for a 1952 Bowman Willie Mays. My brother has it now. That same year I traded more of the same for a minty 1957 Tony Kubek rookie. I still have a ton of 86 fleer, anybody want to trade?

I traded my job at a local warehouse for my job of owning my own business.

As for cards, I really dont trade that much, but I do recall trading a bunch (About 150) of the recent Mickey Mantle Topps cards for an Adrian Peterson AUTO RC

Having grown up in 60s and 70s, I have always had a love for Topps oddball sets. I recently gave up 2 1986 Bonds Topps Trade PSA 10 and one 1987 Donruss Greg Maddux PSA 10 for 10 1971 Topps Greatest Moments. They are all in above average condition and gradable.

Back in the early to mid 90's when Drew Bledsoe cards were on fire here in New England I collected as many as I could and traded them for a Bobby Orr rookie. Back then a lot of Bledsoe cards were $50-$100 a piece so it was not hard for them to add up. On top of it the Orr card was not in demand and everyone thought the Bledsoe card would go through the roof in a few years. That was by far my best trade.
