My US Type set is 85% complete, with photos!

dsessomdsessom Posts: 2,435 ✭✭✭✭✭
I started a US Type set about 7 or 8 months ago, figuring that it would be the most interesting to non-numismatists which it has proved to be. I have had so much fun with it, and I just realized that I only have 6 monre coins to go to complete the set. I am currently at 85%. Once complete, I will upgrade a few of the pieces but overall I am pretty happy with it.

My biggest gripe about PCGS registry sets is that most of them lack photos. So, my main goal was to make sure I had decent photos of every single coin in the set which I have also completed.

I thought I would post it here for your enjoyment.

Thanks for looking!

Congrats! Its a big achievement.....been at mine for 5-6 years now and I'm beginning to suspect I'm about topped out (or bottomed out as the case may be). 98% and will likely never get to 100% as there's some pretty big coins - Goebrecht and Disme standing in my way! But its a fun journey and hope you've had as much fun as I've had ( and continue to have). LINK

Wow, cool set, thanks for sharing! Didn't know they had this type set on the Registry. I only knew about the one that required many more coins that this. This one seem much easier to start and is much more managable!!! Cool!!
