Bill, I had no problem logging in and viewing my various folders - are your pictures not linking properly, or are you having login troubles?

The drop down to upload pics isnt working, so you cant pull pics from the bucket.

Don't have to do it tonight but today is half price listing fees on auction style listings. I could save like $4.

How'd you get viruses off of photobucket?

When I tried the bulk loader, it wasn't working, but I was able to upload one picture at a time without any problems.

You have me worried there a little. I just uploaded a pic today, no problems though. I never look at photobucket except to upload to my own account and haven't had any problems.

click the link above, apparently it's coming from ad banners.
  • Did some quick research on it. Looks like the virus was related to a pop up ad on photobucket.

I run firefox with ad blocker, so I never get those anyway.

hmmmm I did get a virus fomr photobucket a few weeks back. I double clicked to upload a pic and it opened the ad behind my upload box. Then my computer went haywire but a system restore fixed it...for now.
  • So does anyone have a clue why the dropdowns aren't working on pics already uploaded?
  • itzagoneritzagoner Posts: 8,753 ✭✭
    because the site sucks monkeynutz.
  • I've been getting pop up ads on image shack. They just started in the lst month or so.
  • Internet explorer stinks. Use Firefox and the ad blocker app. They also have other cool apps like WOT that make surfing much safer.

Have been using Photobucket all day without a problem. Guess I am one of the lucky ones.

HOWEVER, talking about a Virus ... not sure what it is, but maybe one of you computer experts can help me out.

This started yesterday ... Whenever I do a search in GOOGLE and click on the LINK, it brings me to a different site! ANY idea what that's all about? THANKS.

Hopefully you're kidding. If not, you have a redirect virus. Expect some bad things to start happening with your computer in the next couple of days.

Bill, I had the same problem and I hope to hell it is fixed soon with the drop down links. In the meantime, you can click on the picture to go to the fullsize image and the code links are there. It's much more of a hassle but it worked.
  • corvette1340corvette1340 Posts: 3,384 ✭✭✭
found the solution to the drop down link codes not working. Go to the "share" link on any individual picture and then choose "always show link codes" instead of "only on mouseover"- which obviously isn't working anyway. Then save it. The link codes should show up under every picture.

    Worked. Thanks!
