Seems there have been 3 or 4 52 Topps Mantles on eBay per week for the past month. I am talking about actual auctions for graded cards from legit sellers. Most are low grade, but there have been a few nice ones. Just seems the only ones on eBay were BIN and most belonged to Levi. Just kind of crazy to see so many changing hands lately.

I guess people need money. I think it's a buyers market.

For many reasons (price, RC, futures, etc...) I prefer the '51 Bowman

I have got a 51 Bowman PSA 3.5 but I really want the 52 Topps. I hope more and more come out of the woodwork so I can pick up a PSA 2 or 3 for less than $8K. I have justified spending $2K to my wife but if she finds out I spent $8K she will kill me. I tried that whole "it is an investment thing" and she doesn't buy it anymore since she knows I will never sell them.

I've noticed a lot of '52 Mantles up for auction, but haven't payed much attention to what they end up being sold for. Have the latest ones been selling for less than Mantles that were sold in '08/'09 in comparable condition/grade? I did see that Felicia's PSA 7 went fairly low.
