Another Felix Potvin thread

1994-95 Stadium Club First Day Issue Martin Brodeur #264 Beckett Value - $45

1994-95 Stadium Club First Day Issue Felix Potvin #15 Beckett Value - $18

Same set, same seller, one minute difference in end time, Felix Potvin versus the best goalie in hockey history. Lets see which card sells for the most.

You know that by posting that here you are just instigating someone to bid up the Potvin just to prove a point. Then we'll be dragged back into a slew of nonsense threads... thanks

I would think they would be more inclined to bid on the Brodeur to prove me wrong. lol

  • $17.50 for the Potvin should at least wake people up to the fact that he is a commodity in the NHL trading card market. Laugh all you want, the guy's cards outsell a lot of superstars/Hall of Famers from the same sets. I'm glad to see the Brodeur went for that much.

You're hilarious. No wonder you take so much crap on these boards.

Good to see you are so easily amused. Glad I could help. : )
  • It is worth mentioning that the Potvin sold for 97% of Beckett value and the Brodeur only sold for 76% of Beckett value. I'm only trying to show that Potvin is a good seller considering his accomplishments in the NHL. When you are pulling 97% in a set that Brodeur is pulling 76%, I would say that Potvin is a good seller (unlike what many have tried to argue).

Sample size is too small. I think you should update this thread everytime a Potvin or Brodeur is sold.
    Jamie

Looking for Charlie (Charley) Maxwell cards.
