I hate the Colts' vanilla playcalling

With nearly 2 minutes to go in the 1st half, they basically hand the ball back to the Saints without even trying, and the Saints end up with more points. Then the Saints get the onside kick in the 3rd and they have momentum for the rest of the game. They sat down like they did in the last two games of the season. They don't have a mean-streak and it cost them a Super Bowl. Pathetic. Congrats to the Saints for having balls and being aggressive. They deserve the win.

The Colts had plenty of chances to win this game in the second half, but couldn't make the plays in the 4th quarter. Most teams don't try and move the ball right before the half when you're at your won 2-yd line and have the lead with a minute to go. Can't fault them there. If they had gotten a first down, I'm pretty sure they'd have tried to get the ball upfield.

  • Yeah, that last possession of the first half was a bad call. I didn't get it. Let Manning take a few shots down field at least.

Gutsy call by the Saints on the opening 2nd half kickoff, and it payed off.

The onside kick was the game changer, without question..great call.

It was just in the cards for the Saints.

They got away with two guestionable calls. Going for it on 4th and 2 at the goal and then the on side kick. That took nads!

    Congrats to the Saints!

They definitely deserve the victory. The Colts shot themselves in the foot, then the Saints shot them in the other one.
