<< <i>I think Dent was deserving. Maybe being from Chicago Im biased. I think he is as deserving as Randle. Rickey Jackson doesnt belong IMO. >>
Personally, I can't help but feel Jackson got a huge boost from the Saints being in the Super Bowl tomorrow, and the fact that he's the first (career) Saint to get in the HOF.
Edited to add: I firmly believe Dent is one of the most egregious cases of non-HOF status for an eligible player!

I agree, Jackson getting in over Dent was a bad call.
Never once growing up did I think I was watching a HOF linebacker when I saw Ricky Jackson play. He was a good player, no doubt, and I wish he played for my team, but his inclusion is ridiculous. I think the other thing going for him was that they did not want to have another skill player go in with Emmitt and Rice, hence the DL, OL, and LB. Although I would put Haley or Dent in before him.
<< <i>Glad to see Grimm get in. I loved the Hogs back in the day. >>
The Redskins OL was great but Grimm shouldn't of been selected over some of the other candidates. He essentially had a 6 year career then played portions of the next 5 seasons (30/76 regular season games).
Super Bowl XXVIII: Buffalo Bills vs Dallas Cowboys -
Running back Emmitt Smith rushed for 132 yards and 2
touchdowns earning Super Bowl MVP honors as the Cowboys
defeated the Bills 30-13 to win their second consecutive NFL
title.
