    Start collecting Sean Burroughs!! Not a Padre fan but, man this guy is on fire. They moved alot of vets to get this guy a starting spot.

    reddog - Josh Beckett I believe. Josh Beckett is considered a rookie this season since last season he didn't play but a game or two, and I believe that Beckett will be starting. I like this guy, he's a got a promising future as a starting pitcher...look out for Josh Beckett...

    Ok, I know my baseball prospectsimage:

    I have gotten a lot of autographs of prospects cause there is a "AAA" team here in Fresno (Fresno Grizzlies). Here is who I think will do well (out of the ones I know):

    Pitchers:
    1. MARK PRIOR - Scouts are saying he is good enough to jump from college to the majors. Has some REAL NICE stuff
    2. Joel Pineiro - Watched him pitch, VERY nice player. Although was not able to obtain his auto (didn't know what he looked like)!
    3. Jason Jennings - As autobilia said, very promising. Great player although might not fare too well, as he is pitching in Coors Field.
    4. Juan Cruz - A hard throwing pitcher that will go well with the Cubs ALL-STAR pitching staff!!

    Batters:
    1. CARLOS PENA - He is going to be one of the best rookie players this next season. One of the nicest players you will ever meet. If he makes a mistake, he goes back on how he made it and he corrects it. A nice fluint swing, and an over-all great player! Will make a huge impact!!
    2. Adam Dunn - One of the most powerful rookie players in the league, and may do pretty well.
    3. Nick Johnson - Never seen him play, but will probably to pretty well with the dominating Yankee staff!!
