Just in from Newport Beach: Capped Bust Half Dime
![Barndog](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/userpics/085/nRU7L1JTLUDTG.jpg)
I bought a raw half dime a little while ago and submitted it to PCGS in early January. Just got the coin back today.
PCGS graded the coin XF-40. This die marriage is notorious for a weakly-struck obverse. This is an 1830 LM-11, an R-6 die marriage.
Interestingly, I used to own two of the finest examples of this die marriage (NGC AU-58 and NGC AU-53). I traded both away to
advanced collectors in order to improve my overall collection. I guess I was confident of finding another nice example![image](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif)
The images below are mine.
