ebay shenanigans: Ripken Graded Lot

Okay, I don't normally post ebay shenanigans on here, but I can't resist this one. Maybe someone here can shed some light on it.
Last week there was an auction for (70) Ripken Graded Cards. I had a problem with this auction because the seller took the time to type out every card and cert number, but failed to include the many qualifiers on the cards, and posted crappy pictures so you could barely tell if they had qualifiers. This auction sold for $485.01 on February 1st, by the seller "benistheman (24)", and won by "s***n (8024)".
So yesterday (February 3rd) the very same auction for (70) Ripken Graded Cards was listed under the seller "nicesale5510 (213)".
This same "benistheman (24)" sold a Mattingly lot and a McGwire lot.
Those same lots have been relisted by "nicesale5510 (213)", here are the new Mattingly and McGwire lots.
What the heck is going on here? I'm sure it's possible that the original buyers maybe changed their minds about their purchase, but that's pretty far fetched. This "nicesale5510 (213)" has a feedback from a buyer who claims they had the highest bid on a No Reserve auction and the seller refused to make good on the sale because it didn't sell for enough money.
Am I out of line for thinking this guy is trying to rip people off? or is this a valid "buyer beware" situation? Thanks for reading...

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
