Announcing a Pujols Minor League Card Discovery!

Been working on this for a while, there is a variation in the 2000 Midwest League TopProspects Card issued by Multi-Ad Services.........Most of the cards come with the card numbered #20 on the reverse...
SOME CARDS CAN BE FOUND WITH NO NUMBER...a true NNO variation RECENTLY confirmed by PSA after i showed them the evidence and sent in both variation for grading.....
the story behind this variation is this....these minor league cards were printed many times after the original print run of 2000....the original print run however, DID NOT have the cards numbered on the back, this is the NNO variety...
the ones with the number 20 on the reverse are the more common ones --the ones that were printed in 2001, 2002 2003 2004 ....

PSA, (thanks Susan), worked with me to make sure these cards will now be identified based on this Variation!
So what are you waiting for? get you Pujols Midwest League top Prospects cards out and start checking!!!!! do YOU have a RARE one?

<< <i>This one set was made over 10,000 times by a fellow who has since passed away. This card will never have any true value in the Minor League Community. >>
true, the Numbered version is quite common....It was made not by a fellow, but by Multi-Ad advertising company out of (wait for it) PEORIA!...
the NNO version is quite rare i assure you....i have been buying them for 3 years now whenever i saw them, and believe me, there arent many!
before this, the Minor Leaue Community had NO CLUE this card existed!
"hi! i was the discoverer of this variation...i have the other 6 PSA 10's...the no number variation is a LOT more rare and it is the only card from 2000...these cards with the number on the back were printed after 2000 (legally)...
good luck in the sale, any other pujols question you may have i can probably answer..."
Fandango, thanks for shedding some light on this variation. I do not feel many people know about it. I just learned about it when I got results from the December special back. There's not much information about these out there. I always wondered why a minor league card of arguably the best player would have so little value. But then learned that the ones that were being sold and the ones in the SMR are that variety that was sold after 2000 and mass produced. If anyone else has one, please let me know. Thanks.
<< <i>So why couldn't someone now mass produce the NNO variation? >>
Upperdeck is looking into this.

you can say that about ANY CARD....
the MWL TOP prospects was printed under proper licensing....they were not printed illegally....its more like a "first print run" and then all the rest.....

The variation is too small and too easily tampered with, it will not hold a much higher value over the other, just for that fact.
if the back had a different logo or bio etc. that would be a different story. IMO
Thanks for sharing this. I had to run down to the basement and look over my PSA 9 copy. Sure enough, no number.
Same goes for the entire minor league set i purchased. Lackey, Overbay, Dunn. Makes me wish that i didn't sell my Peavy PSA10!
So i imagine it's safe to say that NNO cards are the original print run?
the No Number is the original print run from 2000....!
send it back to PSA and they will update the flip as a mechanical error

<< <i>Looks like there's an error on the birth date as well. The card you scanned says 1980? >>
