wouldn't 'Zo's be his Hoops Magic Johnson's All Rookie Team insert?

I know that was Shaq's hottest RC at one point.

Well, technically that's not a rookie card. Pluls, from what I can recall, it's a shot of him from the back shooting a free throw, really bad picture.
  • Alonzo Mourning best rookie card is his 1992 Upper Deck rc. This set basically is the best rookie cards for that class, including Shaq, Sprewell, etc.

92-93 Upper Deck Bask is an awesome set.

God. Guys, remember back in the day when you could open a box of cards, and sell the base set RCs you pulled and actually make a little profit??

92-93 was a great basketball set. I loved the Shaq and Jordan base cards and also the Team MVP Jordan cards.
  • The Upper Deck set is very nice, no doubt. That Mourning is pretty dark though with the background/suit. As for values, I'm not sure which one is worth the most at this point.
  • This is an interesting one, for the Zo, it can go either way with Stadium Club or Upper Deck.

interesting point. In the past few years, Shaq's UD rookie has sold for a bit more than his Stadium Club, and I always assumed that it was because his UD was short printed.

How do Zo's UD and Stadium Club RCs match up?

None of Zo's RCs sell very well so it would be difficult to identify the "best" RC based on sales. I would say however, that the best RC for that year for everyone except Shaq would be the Stadium Club RC. The Stadium Club cards were always worth more than the UD cards and I would guess that the Beckett values remain the highest for Stadium Club.
