VCP reports Don Mattingly Topps RC up +657%

Don Mattingly 84 Topps rc PSA 9 sells for $113.61.

But then I click on it and it's for a lot 10 PSA 9 rookies. That some misleading info. It makes me think how many other figures are off.

I subscribed to VCP but I'm not sure how long I will keep it. I might just go back to keeping 200 cards on my ebay watch list and figure out the avgs myself.

    Email them and let them know, if you haven't already. No tracking system will be infallible. The more we bring errors like that to their attention, the better the system will going forward.

    So, did it work out by reporting the error?

    Even in this economy, a psa 9 of the 1984 topps rookie is still $11-12. Not bad for a mass printed non-HOF card.

    I personally think the Topps rookie is the best looking one compared to the Fleer and Donruss, with all due respect.

    I wonder how much the tiffany version would be worth. How about the OPC and Nestle?

    True enough, but given it is a paid service, I would think they would do some spot checking for anything too terribly out of whack with the previous average. I would think this would be easy enough to flag automatically, although the review would have to be a manual process.
