Tebow struggles at the Senior Bowl - needs to improve for the NFL combine

Word I'm hearing is that a third round pick is likely for him.

His stock has really fallen over the last year or so...I guess we can understand why some guys leave college early to turn pro...if he does drop that far (3rd rd), that's millions of dollars he left on the table by not turning pro earlier.

Come on now - if he gets to the second round I'll be surprised...no conceivable way he goes to the third round.

Tebow has never been considered a great QB prospect.

yea, and all those "can't miss" early first round quarterbacks are always setting the NFL on fire.
  • maybe he was worried about his upcoming superbowl commercial.

His only chance is to be drafted as a backup and learn true pro style offense football.

The guy spent almost 100% of his snaps in shot gun. He had problems with the center exchange in practice for the senior bow.

He won't be a option or running QB in the NFL. He isn't fast enough or elusive enough to do wild cat. He might be a good short yardage guy but I can't see him dodging anyone at the NFL level.

He needs to learn the 5 step drop back footwork and timing necessary to play in the NFL. If a team drafts him as a project and if he really wants to learn he might succeed.

    - I'm sure that really punched a hole in his reputation....couldn't have been that he is just a mediocre QB.

My family has different values than the Tebows. They're certainly free to express theirs and CBS is free to provide a venue for them, but my point is that Dobson is such a divisive figure that it's not inconceivable that some owners would want to avoid the spotlight that association could bring. I'm sure many owners are conservative Christians, but I'm sure that even more are devoted to the bottom line and to managing their brand.

politicalized posting tend to get threads bammed or people as well so everyone may want to let this go and keep it to why Tebow won't be a good QB at the next level.

At the very least Tebow can get a gig on talk radio in Florida, make a bunch of commercials, and fight off the hot women. Not to mention he''ll seldom have to buy his own dinner.
