Waiting online for Red Sox tickets....

Anyone else getting tired of being in the "virtual waiting room"? Been there since 9:30, tickets went on sale at 10am. They randomly (yeah, right) pick people to buy tickets. What a pain the the backside. With today's technology there isn't a beter way to do it?

Good thing I have some other stuff to keep me busy in the meantime...

I wish I lived close enough to Boston to buy some tickets. I see them when they come out to Seattle.

    Good luck.

It reminded of the movie "Fever Pitch" when the guy gets excited every year when the UPS guy delivers his season tickets - what a rush!

I like to take the kid to a few games a year. We always have Lowell, Pawtucket, and Manchester to fall back on (great seats cheap!), but the Fenway experience is different at 10 years old. We have no problem going to "Futures at Fenway" when they have back to back minor league games, but some major league games would be nice too. Keeping fingers crossed that we can get a few when we get our chance.

At the point now where there are 20 games that have obstructed view or only single tickets left. On top of that Yankee and Dodger games are not on sale, so there are maybe only 50 games with tickets left, and most of them will be April-May when the kid is in school and the weather may be tough. Great system Sox, way to go!

Edit: but the Red Sox approved Brokers will have tickets right up until gametime for all games. At 50%+ markups of course, can you say kickbacks?

Steve, I don't even bother anymore it's so close to impossible!!

I gave up the virtual game years ago

I'll enter for monster drawings and all but won't do the ticket wait

If you and Kyle don't mind week games, I may be able to kick you one this season

I join Red Sox Nation each year at the level with 2 tickets. Sure, the seats are not the greatest, but at least I get to go and get a tour of Fenway to boot. And now you even can get up on the Green Monster for batting practice....which was as fun as the game for me.
    Looking for Carl Willey items.

No good hockey there though. 30+ games this for us. Between Lowell, Manchester and Providence we are busy. Looks like we'll be doing mostly Minor league baseball again too. Red Sox just have too much greed now.

i wouldnt waste a second of it for overpriced, obstructed view seats.
