the T.T submittal form for raw coins to PCGS sez to use soft flips ; but PCGS sez to use the stiff one's .........
I had asked Norma @ T.T weeks ago and she said she would send the proper one's to me -but none ever came .......
anyone know what one's are correct to use ?

it may be no big deal to them as they said they just put them in the correct flip anyway after they receive them .........,
but the less the coins get slid in and out of holders and handled , the better
The stiff ones are better for longer term (ie....waiting for the coins to be graded at PCGS (my morgan is still waiting in the queue for 22 days now)) but more likely to scratch if the coin is in/out a lot or someone isn't careful.
If TT does things quickly, likely not a big deal.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
What you want for long term storage are flips made of Mylar like:

now i see the "stiff " ones can have pvc as well...........
PCGS used to require the soft flips -then changed to the stiff one's ; why change if the stiff ones have PVC as well and are more prone to causing micro hairlines ??
For certification submission 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" SAFLIP's are the way to go.
Q: How should I ship my coins to PCGS?
A: We ask that you send your coins in 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 Mylar flips. Please DO NOT send your coins in stapled holders, 2x2 flips, vinyl flips (that may contain PVC) or tubes, as doing so will cause a delay in processing. Place a white sticker on the flip and write the submission and line number that corresponds to that coin. We recommend keeping your coins together in the same order as they are ......................
so why would T.T ask me to submit them in soft vinal flips on their submission form ?
seems petty don't it ...............but it's a big deal to me
