I don't know about price since I don't follow the card.

But, based on the appearance - I think it presents very well - the blue area is sweet - I think ya did OK.

    Very, very nice card.

Great card! Top to bottom off centering doesnt bug me as much as left to right. I think that card presents very well! The price was right too. Congrats!

Nice corners and the OC doesn't look that bad because it is the bottom border as opposed to one of the sides......

considering that very same card sold for $499 on January 20th, I'd say you did really well!

Why would that person buy the card for $499, just to sell it 7 days later for $275?

Is there a PD or stain? Almost wonder if you crack and clean that up, although I don't know if you want to risk it. I agree with the other posters, the O/C doesn't detract, and the edges on the top border are really nice.
Kiss me once, shame on you.
    Kiss me twice.....let's party.

You only paid $275? This eBay auction shows that exact card selling for $499.99 just 7 days ago.

According to the seller he picked up 2 more rookies for a good price and would make back his money on those. Paid for it with paypal and cc just in case.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Was it a BIN or BO auction, which he could have purchased for $275, but would show card being purchased for 499.99 BIN price the seller had listed.

Whenever something sells for Best Offer, it typically says what it sold for. This auctions says "Sold For: US $499.99".

For the record, I'm not calling shenanigans, I just thought it was odd that he would buy it just to lose $225 a week later.

I also think you could crack that card, re-sub it requesting NQs, and make more on the resale. It might pop a 5 or 6 NQ. 6 could be pushing it though.

I wonder if that is wax on the card or holder?

Don't see it NOT getting the qualifier...the back is pretty OC as well....it almost seems like it should have gotten the MC qualifier instead.

I think ya did great Kirk.

The red circles is that representative of what they look like or is it the scan?

    Good for you.

I dont have the card in hand but I think its just the scan. I used Bing to buy the card so after Bing and ebay cash back the final cost will be around 247.

I get the feeling this is one of the cards that has moved out of its recent trading range permanently.

This has to be one of the best cards to own.

heck yes that is one of the greatest cards out there. A Rose rookie that example though he was nice above the blue seems to squish down the rest of the card in to oblivion.
