Greatest Moments Question and are SLU's dead

Hello,

The 1971 Greatest Moments cards were issued seperately, correct? Does anyone know which markets they were distributed in?

I am currently working on the 1964 Giants (love the photography, the historical write-ups on the back, only 60 cards) and realized that the Greatest Moments were the most similar due to the write-ups on the back (as opposed to the 1970 and 1971 Supers which had the regular issue write-ups and were rounded, borderless cardboard).

Very expensive though.

Also, are SLU's dead? Aside from some rare football pieces, do any have value? For example, the Ted Williams Stadium Star was regional or the Collector's club stuff - worhtless? Will they make a comeback when the 8 to 11 year olds from 1992 hit 40?

Just thinking out loud.

Paul

They're not quite dead, but shipping costs kill ebay sales for the common ones, and storage space issues make them difficult to take to shows.
