I bought a box last night. Very nice product. Box odds state 2 auto's and 1 game used per box. I got two of each, so that was a nice little bonus. Being art cards, pretty interesting set of cards to look at. Some of the pictures are really nice, some are just interesting and some are just fun to look at. The Randy Moss card really sticks out to me... strange face drawing, almost reminds me of ancient egyptian art!
I'll definitely be picking up another box or two in the near future.
The art is kinda goofy to me on alot of the cards. Percy Harvin has a really goofy expression on his face.
I don't know why the "artist" of the Austin Collie card didnt take the artistic license to remove the "Collie" sticker from the front of his helmet when drawing the picture. I hate photos of rookies with those stickers on them, why would an artist stick to their photo reference so much as to make the final product look silly? To me if you are drawing a set of cards I would try and make each player look cool, not like the photo I am using.

Hard to argue that example. I was excited about picking up a case of Topps National Chicle just because I am such a fan of the original, but the more I saw of the product, the less I liked it.

Edited to add: Is it just me, or does that depiction of Marino look a little bit like Butthead?
Horrific artwork the more I see it. Nice way to ruin a card by putting a huge white sticker on it. Topps should be ashamed of this terrible terrible terrible terrible offering.
Topps should license like real artists, you know the ones that make comics, art cards, magic cards etc for these sets not the cheapest they can find.

I wonder if instead of real artwork they are using a computer program.
I enjoy alot of the comic sketch cards and magic artwork and it is all signed by the authors. If someone wants to remake one of these are sets again they should use real artists and let them sign their artwork.

Remove the colts uniform and the 18 and would anyone think it was Peyton Manning??? That nose isn't even close in porportion with the face. Look at his left eye, its not close to being in the right spot. The right eye is basically right next to his nose while the left eye is about an inch to the left and about 1/2 an inch lower than the right eye.

Good call and the Wes Walker looks like they slapped a helmet on Gollum.

This Topps original art just went for over 500 bucks!
If you're a Peyton fan - I can see plunking that kind of dough down - I just don't particularly like the art that much.
