Finally - One of my white whales. Just had to show off.

Went back and forth with the seller all morning and finally arrived at a price. He even set it up as a BIN so I could get the cash back.
The print near the top doesn't bother me much. Very happy with the corners and centering for a 7. Me happy
Sorry for the e-bay pic.

Topps White Out (silver) letters Alex Gordon
80 Topps Greg Pryor “No Name"
90 ProSet Dexter Manley error
90 Topps Jeff King Yellow back
1958 Topps Pancho Herrera (no“a”)
81 Topps Art Howe (black smear above hat)
91 D A. Hawkins BC-12 “Pitcher”
Looks pretty solid for a 7....although honestly, it is hard for me to tell a 7 from a 10 in O Pee Chee, due to the edges and not knowing the common printing flaw of every particular card and like.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Currently collecting 1934 Butterfinger, 1969 Nabisco, 1991 Topps Desert Shield (in PSA 9 or 10), and 1990 Donruss Learning Series (in PSA 10).
I've been on the look for a sharp Topps RC that I
can apply some bing and ebay bucks to also
Congrats!!!
Recently I decided to change collecting focus (what else in new) and concentrate on the top 250 sportcards theme. Been selling off a lot of stuff and buying where I can find what I consider good buys.
Will not be crossing over. I don't do the registry, and this is one of the cards I think looks better with the black border of the SGC holder. That is, unless, I get it and think it's a soild 8. Highly unlikely, however.
Next up I'm looking for a centered 54 topps Williams in a 6/7 and a Payton rookie in a 8/9.

Nice card, Bob. Congrats.
Good luck with this quest. I tried the same thing when I first received that top 250 book with my membership several years ago, but quickly became frustrated with my lack of funds and realization that I'd never be able to afford more than 50 of those cards.
Unfortunately, I did end up with the Bonds, McGwire, and Sosa rookies.

BTW - I can NOT afford my 'whale' - so it'll be some time.
Thanx for sharing
