Hi folks!
Several years ago I decided to sell my OFEC world coin collection.
While I enjoyed the selling, when it was done I felt empty and without focus.
Once I decided to start collecting again it seemed like a weight was lifted
from my shoulders. The thrill of the chase was back!
I thought about limiting myself to just a few countries but I find I can't change
my original methodology so it's back to OFEC-the sky's the limit!
I tried to develop an appreciation for slabs over the last months but just can't
fake the enthusiasm so once again, back to raw uncleaned coins, nice VF and above in 2 x 2's.
I bought my first piece a couple of days ago, certainly nothing special but it felt so goood....
Spain, Madrid Mint, 1888(88) MP-M 5 Pesetas .900 Silver KM#689.
There are 8 types within the 5 Pesetas series from 1869-1899 that
I'd like to acquire.
If anyone has an example to sell with the same kind of original grey toning as this piece in VF or XF,
please let me know. PS-It's nice to be back.
