normal for inventory removal request on auction close?

sold a bunch on ebay today. admittedly first mass psa graded card sale for me. never thou had someone request an inventory removal request near the moment the auction closed. just weird i guess.

i had tyipcally issued the request as a means for it being an acceptable sale like a final proof that the item was received. happen to you?

I leave it in my set until the buyer receives it- if it gets stolen en route (never happened, but could) it's one more small layer of protection.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

I typically add a newly purchased card to my sets right after I pay for them. It's a bad practice, I know, but I have the patience of a 2 year old when it comes to adding a card to my sets. There has been a couple times where a cert number comes up as being in the seller's set, and PSA automatically sends the seller a removal request when I try to enter it. It's not my intention to send that request, but PSA seems to do it without asking. There's no way of knowing it's in someone's set until the deed has been done. Just my experience...
