2010 Topps Baseball Live Rip...

OK, I was Target buying a new 4-slot toaster and picked up 20 packs of Topps Baseball...only thing is, I don't know a lot about modern baseball cards...so maybe you guys can help me out?
Here is what I'm doing: ripping one pack, putting the cards in sleeves, then scanning the cards...all while watching the Vikings game...go Vikings!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
<< <i>I think modern cards need more inserts. >>
I was just thinking the same thing. I wish they made packs with no inserts, way too much junk in this for me. I'll wait for the set.

Might be a Mantle, probably be a Sid Bream. But cool nonetheless.
I really like Topps' offering this year, so far.
Only an idiot would have a message board signature.

And more Mickey Mantle cards. I really feel like this Yankee great has been underrepresented in most post-2005 Topps sets.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

<< <i>That million card giveaway card is redeemable for a Topps card from years past.

The million card giveaway cards are going for $10+ on ebay, pretty crazy.

I've got a jumbo box coming this week. Last year, I basically got my base set for free last year, after selling off the inserts from my jumbo box. Hope to do the same this year.

<< <i>i found none at the local target today
Mine was clean too. Lots of '09 stuff left over.
<< <i>Patrick, Did you rip the other 16 packs? >>
I put the O/U on Mantle inserts in those 16 remaining packs at 6.
<< <i>So the MMTAMC redemptions are only for oversized cards, doesn't that mean the only cards you can get from them are early '50s Topps cards? Maybe that is why they are selling for $10+. Which Topps sets are oversized besides '52, '53, '54, '55 and '56? >>
All the million card giveaway cards are redemptions. Topps bought 1 million of there old cards, and they can be redeemed onlinw witha code. There is at least 1 of card from 1952-presnt. Basically that averages to about 22 of each card. Probably will be a lot of 1980-present cards, and not much form the 1950's-70's. Will still a box of jumbos, still fun to open.

Two of them there giveaways redemptions:
One interesting Card Your Mom Threw Out
[
Not sure how one's mom got this because it was supposedly never issued (or only by mistake)
And finally a relic card.
<< <i>Is it a crap shoot on what Topps is going to send you on the give away? >>
I'm sure they have a master list stored somewhere that matches up all the redemption codes with a card....so I guess you could say yes it is a crapshoot.....just have to hope you get one of the lucky redemption card numbers.
But.. I'm going back tonight to buy some more!
