    yep and Desme wasn't some schlub. He was pretty highly regarded, rated as a 4 star prospect by Baseball Prospectus....center fielder with some pop and plus speed.

    I read that yesterday; that is quite unusual. I didn't appreciate the rude comments I read about his decision in the Yahoo version of that article though. Some people can be quite cruel.
