A few questions from a new submitter

1. Do you send the cards in a penny sleeve inside the Card Saver 1, or no penny sleeve?
2. When paying "return shipping cost", do you put cash in the shipment or a check or what?
3. How do I determine value for insurance and the $499 limit on free subs? Is it raw Beckett value, or what?
4. I'm sending a 1962 Topps Mickey Mantle, is that over the $499 or are they lenient?
5. Can I not allow qualifiers?
6. When shipping, do you simply rubber-band the Card Saver 1s together in a small box with packing peanuts and taped up real good?

Thank you for any answers.

    1. Do you send the cards in a penny sleeve inside the Card Saver 1, or no penny sleeve?

Some people do and some don't. It is up to you but I prefer to put them in sleeves first.

    2. When paying "return shipping cost", do you put cash in the shipment or a check or what?

On the submittal form there is a place to put your credit card number. I think you can also include a check but have not done that before.

    3. How do I determine value for insurance and the $499 limit on free subs? Is it raw Beckett value, or what?

There are many ways to do it. You should put whatever you think the market value is if your cards were lost and you needed to be reimbursed by insurance. I usually come up with the value by guessing what grade the card will grade and then look up what they have been selling for in that grade.

    4. I'm sending a 1962 Mickey Mantle, is that over the $499 or are they lenient?

This depends on what grade you think it will get.
    5. Can I not allow qualifiers?

If you don't want qualifiers simply write No Qualifiers on the top of the form.

    6. When shipping, do you simply rubber-band the Card Saver 1s together in a small box with packing peanuts and taped up real good?

Yes...package them so they won't get damaged. How you do it is up to you.

sometimes I do... usually I don't 1 less way to damage the card

    2. When paying "return shipping cost", do you put cash in the shipment or a check or what?
I always do everything on a credit card.

    3. How do I determine value for insurance and the $499 limit on free subs? Is it raw Beckett value, or what?
I typically choose a a value of around 1-5k total.. I never itemize. it is returned registered mail which is super safe and requires a sig.

    4. I'm sending a 1962 Mickey Mantle, is that over the $499 or are they lenient?
you only claim the value you want it insured for... you could list that card as $50, 100 or $500 if you wanted. depending on the service level

    5. Can I not allow qualifiers? yes, you can request no quals but some cards may require it and will not matter if you request none. it is grader discretion

    6. When shipping, do you simply rubber-band the Card Saver 1s together in a small box with packing peanuts and taped up real good?
I always use a cracked out slab for rigidity on the out side of my card savers.. and masking tape around ( it comes off easy ) or rubber band around it
I always ship in a flat rate priority box insured for a signature ( over 200 ) with DC
packed with bubble wrap or peanuts
